Founder and CEO of LinQ Retail

Peter has over 30 years of retail industry experience across diverse retail formats with an emphasis on specialty fashion apparel and footwear but also spanning sporting, outdoor, hardgoods, cosmetics and seasonal ambient food.
Possessing an exceptionally strong merchant mentality and expertise in key disciplines supporting the operational spinal functions including Merchandise & Marketing, Merchandise planning, Ecommerce, Logistics, Sourcing & Supply chain, Property, Production programming & IT.
A particular interest, passion and expertise in Merchandise & ERP systems selection, development and configuration, Buying office and E-commerce procedure reorganization with experience in optimising performance and driving strategic and organizational change across the entire merchadise lifecycle.
A career building to multiple GM and Chief Operating Officer roles spanning hard and soft goods within a broad range of retail, wholesale, and vertical groups both in Australia and internationally. Senior roles held in public and private companies represent the wider Australasian retail landscape including Brand collective; The PAS group; Jeanswest; Anaconda/Spotlight; Target; Payless shoes; David Jones; Katies & The Warehouse group and more.
Prior to moving to Australia in 1995 Peter held merchandise management positions at Woolworths and The
Foschini Group in South Africa, as well as Management Accounting, Sales, and Production programming roles at Pepkor and Kohler Packaging after completing management accounting qualification from the Cape Peninsula University (RSA).
